Hi all, do any of you who suffer from fibro experience joint pain in your toes? Mine hurt to bend and it is worse after I wake up but seems to linger all day!

Hi Courtney,
Thank you for weighing in on this very real disease.
I'm a Family Medicine Physician Assistant & have given numerous Autoimmune lectures at local, state & national medical conferences .
Fibromyalgia is indeed a bona fide autoimmune disorder with a recognized ICD-10 diagnosis code. Recently the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) updated diagnostic & management criteria. There are new severity & quality of life scales to assist with the disease impact on life since there are no lab or imaging studies for this disease. The 18 trigger point assessment is no longer recommended by ACR. Patient friendly educational information regardiing fibromyalgia can be found on the ACR website, along with a toolkit for patients.
I would be happy to send resource links or share any other information as needed. As a PA & sufferer of Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Raynaud's, & Sjogren's Syndrome, it is important to me that everyone has factual, evidence-based medical information. Have a great evening🌷

Hi @A MyLupusTeam Member I have Fibromyalgia and yes to your question. I stretch a lot, soak in epsom bath every day. Walk a lot and get a massage monthly. Check with your doctor. Hope you find some relief and let us know. :)

@A MyLupusTeam Member Sending hugs your way for the lupie brain fog and speech problems. But...
Am glad to know I'm not alone. So frustrating to think north and say south...to forget names...and on bad days to not be able to add 2 + 2. And then people laugh when you try to explain the fog. Fight on lupus warriors!
