Thanks for your answers I thought I'd ask as someone asked if I could private message them about a particular querie they had, and I could not see a way to do this

Well do you see send a private message as an option on here? if not then there's your answer.

Someone asked the same thing a month or two ago this site doesn't have that option would be nice if they'd actually take it in consideration I assume they feel like nothing should be hidden away and that we are all one big happy family that whatever we share can be vital information still it would be nice to actually send a private message from time to time because some things aren't meant for everyone to see.

They're posted to the person but seen in the activity log by all. I'm considering working on something that will be a bit more personalized
