Hi I have had huge relieve from avoiding acidity things and gluten. To my relieve I can actually ready canned baked beans if they have maize flour , I couldn't believe they actual have flour in then in the first place! Roma or Italian tomatoes are fine...acid free. After a break I can now have the odd light gluten item ie croissant or the odd piece of whole grain toast. Hope this helps... listen to you stomach and what you crave for ...not sugar however

@A MyLupusTeam Member, LOL I understand! Luckily I have two greedy children that will not allow anything to go to waste especially junk food in which I rarely buy. I know it's hard, I do... It's a huge adjustment and once you get that under control, you will notice the difference. You'll start to feel a lil better. I started out with dried fruits and nuts. Then incorporated more fresh fruits and vegetables. When I wanted something sweet, all natural peanut butter with apples, celery with cream cheese, fiber bars and Greek yogurt did it for me. I love yogurt ice cream also. Let me not forget smoothies because sometimes eating all that fruit would get boring so I'd make smoothies. I hope this help.
