While taking hydroxychloroquine has anyone ever noticed their eyes feeling puffer and dryer than what they were before you started taking this med?

Inflammation, dry eye and plaquenil can all effect your vision. I have been told to get my eyes examined every 6 mos by an Opthamologist. They do specific tests to see if the medication is affecting your vision. They can also address the inflammation and dry eye if that is a factor.

Not sure if it's the Meds or Just the fact that i am aging :/ but my vision has gone downhill significantly in the last three years- have been taking it for five.

Yes! After about 5 years my bi yearly visual field test showed changes. I was immediately taken off of this med.

That's the same problem I had with one optimologist and one optometrist... I finally found one who would listen to me and I have been going there for a year now. Won't go anywhere else!

I have the same problem. Doesn't seem to concern the eye doctor.
