Yes! I've never met anyone who has Lupus and sclerotic pericardium like me. I've had chest pain since I was nine. I was told I had anxiety due to my dad passing away at a young age. I also had joint pain which was put off as growing pains. I was diagnosed at age 18 with systemic lupus. Kidney nephritis. Still having problems with the chest discomfort I went to a cardiologist. The result cardiac restriction. Do you have chest pain when you breathe in cold air?

Have them check for anti-cardio lipid syndrome, it sometimes presents like you are describing. Lupus patients don't always have it, but some do. You look so young from your picture, do you mind if I ask how old you are? Hang in there. Watch the Imuran, it was a good drug for me for 20 yrs but caused me to have acute anemia. Had to finally get off it and it was replaced by Prednisone which I hate.

I was just diagnosed with aortic stenosis. I ddon't know if that is similar at all. I did Google it and it can be cause by Lupus. I have Shortness of breath (very severe at times), with episodes of chest pain, for at least 12- 15 years. Prednisone had it under control for 5-6 years, but horrible family stress in 2012 /13 caused me to go downhill a lot, and I cannot seem to get back to where I was.

My lungs are not any better or worse they just are trying to so hard to get my lupus under control so everything will stop being so inflamed an start to heal. Now with the heart an lung problems it's becoming hard to tell what is what when the pain is really bad or when I'm short of breath. My doctors are working together tho to think of medications to help both at once like yesterday they called me in a low dose diuretic to hopefully pull the fluid off my heart an lungs.

I know I was on prednisone for a month and a half ago because I was having a lupus flare and it helped a whole lot and then the following month I had to mine fusion so for me I had back up medication at night after steroids but Star Wars did work for me. But now when it comes to your heart constriction I don't know much about that I would just say try to explore some more on your own via Internet and ask your doctor more questions because maybe it's something with your diet or something else because I know for me my lupus cause other things as well but I make sure I ask a lot of questions so now because of that I have so many different doctors. I have doctors for my stomach I have doctors for my foot I have almost every different type of doctor you can probably think of. And because I have so many stuff going on with me I am prone for infections so whenever I do any form of surgery or any kind of cuts I have to take infection medication.
