I remember when I first start plaquenil I had the worst nightmares in my life. Funny enough the doctor told me that is one of the side effects of the drug but usually stops with in a week and it did. When I am having a flare and in bed more I will dream and remember them. I think it is drug related but not really sure, who knows maybe our minds go there to block some pain. gentle hugs and blessings

yes,yes,yes to the point of cold peripheries when i startle myself awake, that the actual powerful and vivid dream has troubled me and i have unbeknowns to me gone into fright/flight/fight survival mode in my sleep, hence the blood to my heart and brain, high adrenaline surge, and cold peripheries.

Yes I do I dream of fire breathing frightening dragons attacking me I often wake up screaming but if it's too bad I sleep on a sofa bed downstairs as I scream but also hit out and I've hurt my husband by accident

Many of the drugs we take can cause dreams or nightmares. I often experience them.

I have problems with that. They are so vivid when I wake up it takes me a long time to get over the feelings
