Muscle Spasms And Cramps

Muscle Spasms And Cramps

I am not sure if it's related to lupus or not. I get really bad muscle spasms mostly in my legs..so bad it brings me to tears. I do get them sometimes in my abdomen as well. My hands/fingers and toes cramp up at time as well. Just wondering if anyone else has had this. I do drink alot of water so I don't think it's from dehydration. ...
This site is a god send so nice to be able to discuss with people who can relate.

Vitamin D also works for me. I was deficient in vitamin D and didn't know it till I got tested for vitamin D deficiency.
I had bad cramps also. They're much better now. Good luck😀

Try magnesium (and calcium) supplements for legs that cramp. It works for me!

I get terrible cramps, jump out of bed and stretch cramps in middle of night. I get spasms for no reason in random places, shoulders, back, abdomen, thighs just shake. I started eating more bananas, i take omegas, and magnesium, lots of magnesuim, stretch daily, yoga and i wear sneakers all the time to support my feet. I know the meds i take suck the nutrients out of my body so i take folate, methylfolate ... talk to your doc, but water too, lots of water make sure your kidneys are good... hope its a better day.

I take vit D, Calcium/magnesium, drink lots of water. I have no problem walking. The cramps last minutes. If they last long enough and r bad enough, I’m very sore at that location the next day.
I’m going to try Vit E.

Yes, I get them horribly. Losing my ability to walk because of it. Having doc start looking into MS
