I have RA, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, I'm going through a bad time right now with pain. My doctor gave me a steroid shot and I'm on a steroid burst. She has given me Skelaxin (muscle relaxer) and increased my Norco. But, im thinking about Medical Marijuana and getting off the med's. Has anyone tried this avenue? I live in Michigan. The season is changing and I seem to experience this excruciating pain every Spring and Fall.
Isn't that a shame. Drives me bug farts. Highly qualified human beings who choose to go outside of the pharmaceutical guidelines are denied jobs due to pain meds. I don't know others opinion I would rather deal with someone using CBD than oxy any day. And to top my soapbox box, just where are we to find the financial well being to pay for these exboruant drugs??????? IMHO
@A MyLupusTeam Member You can get stuff that does not give you a high, I don't. The doctor figures out what works best for you before they prescribe what forum is best for you and kind. Well at least in Canada I am not sure about there. I would only get medical stuff anyways I would never touch the other you never know what is in it. gentle hugs and blessings
Heather, in any cannabis strain there is always the THC. I do not know how it would be separated out totally. Just look for the highest % of CBD. I never thought cannabis would be legal, let alone have scientific studies done so show the benefits. So I will puff away, and only give as little money to the drug companies as possible. Mind you I am not saying the drugs don't work, they just don't work for me. Peace
