I have that very frequently. Once I was sure "it coulda been a tuma" ha! Running joke in my family. Husband has RA and Lupus systemic. Affects his lungs he now has Pulmonary Fibrosis. Very mild but yeah sister has "Rupus" (RA and Lupus) and Hashimoto's. So we have to laugh to avoid crying. Lol. Anyway I digress. Anyway, once I had it so bad that I couldn't function. It hurt to breathe, laugh, cry and sleep. It was day and night, where normally it comes and goes. My Rheumy put me on steroid dose pack and a script that was Ibuprofen mixed with something. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. But I will try to find out. But it worked!!! Miraculously. I laughed at the thought of Ibuprofen because I was taking Norco 10/325, Two at a time and it didn't touch my pain. I am a RN and understand there are different types of pain and you must treat all types with different approaches. I was a hospice nurse for 10 years at that time in my life. I have had tons of training regarding pain management. Anyway this along with the Medrol Dose Pack was my saving grace. Sorry to run on. Just brought back so many memories. I have not had that level of lung pain since. Now it is fleeting. Thank God. Praying you find the fix for you. I will try to find out what that "miracle pill" was.

I suffer from Pluerisy as well and the pain is awful. I have SLE and my kidney disease is not related to it. Hope you feel better soon.
