They did not take me off plaquenil when I had both knees and a hip replaced, I guess each doctor has there own thoughts on this. I recovered fine with out any flares and was happy I had the surgery. I wish you luck and a speedy recovery, do what they say and the phsyio and you will be fine, doing the exercises they want you to do is key to a good recovery. gentle hugs and blessings
They took me off all my meds for surgery last year. You can tell the difference within a couple days. I was off for an entire month total.Really take it easy and don't push yourself too hard. Sure let's you know that the meds are working. Talk with your doctor about your concerns. Best of luck for a successful surgery and recovery. Prayers your way.
My thoughts and prayers are with you regarding your surgery.
I would phone my Dr. and let them know what's going on for sure , because this is not symptoms to play around with ! You may need complete bed rest and lots of water and warm Epsom and Lavender soaking baths ! This always works for me ! Please phone your Drs. Very important ! 🦋🦋
