have a huge dilemma and Idk what to do/where to turn. I’ve had SLE since 2001. Never gotten it under control/called the “special”patient cuz all the Lupus “rules” end up being thrown out the window. I’ve had a very rough ride with this, Causing heart attacks, bleed outs, coma & life support. This is my problem:

TheLupus has wreaked havoc on my body. I had to have a total ankle replacement 2 months ago. The Lupus & prolonged use of Prednisone (15 years) has killed my ankle and heel, literally no… read more

I know of a dentist in California who will charge Medicare for your full set of dental implants.

Wow, your situation sounds like a whirlwind. Have you contacted your state medicaid office? Are you on disability or social security? I know there are programs out their to help you, unfortunately they won't give you money.

It sounds like, to me, you need to focus on getting your life straightened out first. I would put your teeth on the back burner.

If you are living in bad conditions, there are agencies out their who will come out and do repairs for you and help you with your living conditions. Trying to just get money is probably not going to work. I would start at your states social service office and see what plans you will qualify for. While your there, ask your worker about aides out there that can make your living conditions better. Explain about the leaky roof, etc. Don't go in expecting that you will get help with your mouth. Take care of the major important things, like getting your living conditions straightened out.

Do you have family, kids, friends who could help you with getting your home conditions better?

I know I have only 5 teeth left on the bottom and I do have a denture at the top. I had surgery on the bones in my gums to take care of the deterioration of the bone. I don't know if a denture will ever be able to hold in place at the bottom. If you don't have the bone to hold the denture, you'll probably not be able to have the implants either because they have to be inserted into your bone.

As many problems as it sounds like you've gone through and are still going through, I would say prioritizing is key here. Take care of you first and believe me, things will somehow always work there self out.

I know these words don't turn into cash, but I hope they help you in some way.

You might try talking to some local church organizations. Maybe look for a ministerial alliance of some kind in your area?
