I had to increase my folic acid which seemed to slow down my hair loss

There is a huge response to this that's been ongoing for a couple of months. Try searching hair loss. It was over 365 responses the last time I looked and there are probably more by now. Lol

Before you begin putting all of or some of the treatments on your hair, please remember that hair loss is one of the things that helps diagnose lupus. Please go to your rheumatologist and tell them your concerns. Being a graduate in cosmetology, over 25 years ago, I did learn a lot about different shampoos that can cause hair loss on its on.

Since lupus is so further advanced, you should go to lupus.org and read about lupus. What it is, the symptoms and even search hair loss on that site. I highly recommend lupus.org and also, this site has resources you can look up as well. If you find the post in this websites, I would write down 5-10 of the best things you find that can promote hair growth, then take the list with you to the rheumatologist and discuss the treatments with him.

Tea tree oil seems to help issues with my scalp inflammation. not sure if it would help the hair loss too.
