I was on it about seven or eight years ago, but had to stop it because it caused my heart to beat very rapidly. I could feel the palpitations, and felt very weak and dizzy. I wasn’t on it long so I can’t tell you much else about it.

My weight gain i blame prednisone. Im always hungry and thinking about food .-.

Hi Pam. I have been taking 300 mg at bedtime for about a year for nerve pain. It helps a lot and I have had no side effects. I take it at night because it makes me really sleepy. Good luck..hope it works for you.

Im on this for post herpetic neuralgia after shingles and the only side effect is it gets ya really sleepy !!

hiya yes I`m on it and I fine it good until I forget to take it and I get weird sleeps lol safe to say I wish I havn`t although ive found lots of the medication not great
