It's raining here and my spine has been killing me. Also I felt extremely hot today. Fever??? What is it like for all of you when weather changes?

Personally I am bothered by rain and humidity. My best time is cold winters and my worst time is spring. Always need prednisone tapers in Spring. On Benlysta weekly injections.

I used to love summer. The hotter the better. Now I can't take the heat and humidity at all. Also any time a weather front moves through everything really aches, and I can't sleep.

My pharmacist highly recommends Aspercreme with Lidocaine. It works on my Dad's knee better than antibiotics did. There's also Arnica in several forms. I like the spray so I can doctor my own back. If you are having nerve pain, Hypericum comes in a spray also. All three are great for pain, but I'm afraid nothing really helps "rain pain" except getting into a warm pool. It offsets the bariometric pressures on your body. I know you can't stay in the pool all the time, but sometimes just breaking the pain cycle helps a lot.
