My daughter was diagnosed with lupus a couple of years ago. She was always a good girl until the last few years she's been messing with the wrong side of the law and currently has herself in a bad situation. I've heard of cognitive issues related to lupus. Do you know where I can find information on the lupus affecting her judgement?

Being young, and diagnosed with a chronic illness can also mess with your psyche!. The why the bell not attitude can kick in, how can I lose, I'm already sick. You might want to call her doctor for a referral to a psychologist or a psychiatrist. They are trained to help to get to the root of the problems, and help correct them. Best of wishes.

I think the best thing to do would be to talk to a rheumatologist other than that it would be in this site or the web.
How old is your daughter? Having Lupus at a young age is really difficult and that could affect her choices. Some youths rebel after being diagnosed with chronic illness. And it just may well be the Lupus. Hopefully she can find a therapist to help guide her way out of this.
