I like a low dose xanex 0.5 lowest there is but addicting like everything only problem !!!! Doctors don’t like to subscribe why I don’t know if it’s going to take edge off why not??

But the actually anti depressent Like Zoloft, Paxil, Prozac those r all long term ever day
They work on ur serotonin / dopamine levels as time goes on / low dose xanex is a benzo but you know doctors frown on anything addicting.
anti-depressants are progreslsive and u r monitored can do wonders for some depressed people.

Now xanex whole different animal that’s a quick fix for anxiety!!
Only has life span of few hours or so it’s not like being put on anti depressant you probably need to speak to doctor so you know what’s difference because there is a big difference

The anti depressants are usually long term some hv quality’s for anxiety but takes time not quick fix !! Like Xanex
I say once in while why not xanex

but anti depressants are not addicting at all like xanex!! So big difference depends on what you need see doctor hon blessings 👍👍🦋🙏🙏🌺

Hi MaryKelley, it sucks the confusion of the mental crap lupus plays on us. I get depressed a lot. And I lag a lot. I take fish oil, and iam not even sure it helps. But I try, soon I will have post it notes all over my house. Thank god for my husband. Going to pick up my daughter with Nova the little cutie that she is. So I have to take it easy breezy. And don't want to get sad, or depressed or sick. I hope you start feeling better. There is so many different meds out their, it takes awhile for the right medication to come into yr life. It will. Iam sure of that. In the mean time, breathe, and stay away from caffeine. Not like I should talk, I drink a lot of coffee, and that gives me more anxiety, crazy ideas. you know how it goes. But, MK you will be fine, It takes 3 months anyway for the meds to kick in. It sucks, I know, but you have a lot of support. Wishing you all the best. Take it slow, and easy, You will be okay. And I always say ok is fine with me. Enjoy yr weekend. All the best honey

I am so sorry to hear you were allergic. I have had a lot of reactions from psyche meds it is very scary. I went to the hospital and they gave me too high a dose of steroids and I overdosed on those. Some people are also just really sensitive to medications. I am finding that since I was diagnosed my list of medications I can’t take grows. Maybe you should speak to your psychiatrist about different options or find a psychopharmacologist who is more experienced with hard to treat patients. That is what I had to do and I had to really partner with them. I wish you luck. I live in Westchester too I have a great one in the city and I can give you his info if you like. I hope you are feeling better.
