‪my hands are cold, but when i try to warm them up they sting. it only happens at night. right now my thumb is red and hot. just my thumb. it’s 9:30 pm and just now i got up to go to the bathroom, and as i was walking there, instantly the veins in my hands started to bulge and my knuckles turned red and my whole body felt tight or something. ‬and it’s like i could feel my heart beating in my hands. it’s hard to explain. then when i would lie back down, it calmed down but it’s all still… read more

It sounds like Raynauds that’s when ur hands and feet get cold can’t warm up and turn colors it’s part of lupus but a separate diagnoses I think she said a low dose beta blocker can help open up veins and arteries to the hands and feet so tell doctor right away they may even up ur plaqnuil 🦋🦋🌺🌺

With me it's usually either my entire hand, just my fingers/thumb (while my palms remain cold), or my palms (while my fingers remain cold).

Just the other night my thumb was red and pulsing too. It felt like when you put a band-aid on too tight and you lose circulation in that finger/thumb.

Yes, my hands do that every night.
They get triggered even faster if I take any hot baths/showers, am exposed to light of any kind (primarily fluorescent lights), or if the temperature in my environment rises above 72°F or so.

that’s just it, sometimes i am not sure whether my hands need warmed up or if they need cold. my hands are cold but when i warm them up certain fingers will get really hot and red. but if i keep them out of the blanket certain fingers will be ice cold. so it’s like nothing actually helps. and i am not sure if mine is Raynauds because i don’t experience blue or purple or white cold fingers. last night my middle finger was cold and white but not really that white it still looked like a normal finger, and the rest of my fingers were warm so its just extremely hard to tell what exactly is going on
