Has Anyone Experienced Reoccurring Abdominal Pain?

A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question 💭

Over the years, I've had reoccurring pancreatitis attacks for which I was hospitalized. This last year I've experienced reoccurring abdominal pain that was so severe that on a scale of 1-10 it doesn't even register. I thought for sure that pain was pancreatitis as well, only to get to the ER and after labs and other tests are complete, I found out it's not. In fact, they've don't find anything wrong. Can anyone help or any ideas.

our bodies are changing faster than the doctors can learn about them. you have to write down how you feel doing different things so it can better help the doctor i. e. it hurts when... or doesn’t hurt when...

Hello family, hope everyone was able to enjoy their family this past weekend. I was aching but I medicated and pushed through on Sunday and enjoyed.

I've got a diagnose for this severe stomach pain. It is Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction. I have been prescribed Elavil.

it was suggested that you try to get an upper gi done that would be wise, when i had mine done because of stomach pain i found out that half of my stomach was not working and the other half was slow to process my food. so when i slowed done my eating it hurt less. good luck and keep being your own advocate.

I have and, it didn't end well. Not to sound dramatic, but I was told that my particular case could have been settled by simply adding a good probiotic, specifically, acidophilus. That was after a 10 day temp of 106 degrees.
It actually started with me feeling spasms in my abdomen when eating.
So, my contribution is to make sure you have a healthy gut/flora. This could be your problem if you have had any type of infection or repeated use of antibiotics. ♥️Sarita
