Not neuropathy pain but inflammation on nerve in arm and wrist causing severe pain and numbness and tingling in wrist and hand and main three fingers and thumb. Symptoms worse at night, wake from sleep and difficult to fall back asleep because pain lingers for long time.
Yes im going through this right now. I'm going in for a nerve study with the neurologist next week to try and come up with a plan. The nerve pain is constant from my elbow down my forearm. My hands go numb all the time too. I'm on prednisone to try and calm it down but unfortunately it hasn't helped as much as I'd like.
yes. try icing it to bring the swelling down a bit. try using a wrist brace for the carpal tunnel at night it helps stabilize the wrist.
I've been dealing with this for the past 3 days. Idk what to do about it either 😖
Yes, I have had that. Takes 15 to 20 minutes every morning for my arms and hands feel and start moving again. It’s very scary and I hate it. I went to a neurosurgeon and they tested me for carpal tunnel and I didn’t have it. The cause was spinal stenosis in my neck from years of the lupus attacking my cervical spine. I’m on neurontin (gabapentin) which has helped. Spinal surgery is next if it doesn’t stop completely.
I had surgery, best decision ever!!
