Achey calves

Achey calves

Does anyone experiences achey calves when flaring? Almost feels like you’ve been climbing mountains and hurts to flex your feet forwards and backwards

I get muscle spasms in my calves and feet. I'll go drink some pickle juice or take a muscle relaxer like Flexeril that I keep on hand.

See a podiatrist so you know what type of foot problems you have and what kind of shoes you need to wear to offer the most support. If your calf or the area just below the calf is real tender it is likely achilles tendinitis which anti inflammatories combined with stretching and support on your ankle is a semi-easy fix.

Calf pain can also be related to back/nerve issues usually a disc situation at L4/L5, S1. Or blood flow issues where a stent may be needed.

My legs and feet swell with cramps almost like a Charlie horse. My hands and wrist will feel like major cramps and feel so bruised. Sometimes it's hard to tell my lupus flare from fibro flare. CBD oil helps!!
