I feel like I have a fever I’m really hot and sweaty. I took my temperature but I have no fever. I was recently diagnosed with lupus so I don’t know if this is a flare or not has anybody felt this way before and how do you deal with it?

I am extremely sweaty most all the time. It gets so bad that it drips down my back and soaks my clothes, dripping off my face. I keep hydrated by drinking a ton of water but the excessive sweating is extremely embarrassing at times.

I always try to stay cool by having a fan pointed at me and drinking tons of water. However sometimes even that isn't enough, especially if it's really hot (which it has been here like 85+° everyday now). I recently got put on Clonidine which has helped a lot with those overheating sensations. Maybe ask your doctor about it? Hope u feel better!

I do as well I call them a flare up. If u so spike a fevor keep n eye on it. If ur Dr doesn't respond I would go to the er I have multiple times. There is they can level ur markers. Make sure u tell them u have lupus not all are well versed in lupus so hopefully, the will contact an Ra there.
