Has anyone felt bad and run a fever staying around 99.6 for a month or so? My joints hurt especially my elbows. Even to the touch. Was wondering if this was probably a flair.

Hi have a fever all the time 99.7 but my Dr says many people with lupus have a fever that won't go away.

Curcumin (turmeric) supplements are very helpful in helping to reduce inflammation. My pharmacist said some lupus patients are controlling their symptoms just with curcumin. My rheumatologist put me on 3 capsules a day.

You’re in a flare so focus on bringing down inflammation in your body. Salt baths are helpful. Try the Epsom salt with the menthol. Take a look at your diet and make sure there’s not a food that’s keeping the inflammation there. I’m sensitive to some night shades but some I can eat. Sugar is a real killer if you can break the habit. I have not been able to do it yet. Good luck!
