I am so very sorry. This is a terrible disease that only a few understand. The RA is bad enough, along with diabetes. My children seem to think I'm still super mom and I don't think they see the pain.

My Daughter Amber McBride, passed away April 2,2019, at the age of 21, from Systemic Lupus and Eosinophilic Asthma complications from Pneumonia, which she constantly battled the last year of her time here on Earth with us.... Hip pain and knots in her lower back that we could feel when massaging her back to relieve pain for her, would be so tensed up.... And she constantly had hip pain when walking through Walmart or other Errand runs which required a lot of strenuous activity, walking for long periods of time, repetitive up and down climbing, moving big heavy bags of pet food, veterinary supplies, tools, equipment, medications, linens, or dogs themselves for baths, or exams or treatment by the Doctor, and Doggie Daycares maintenance of its kennels and indoor runs, for 12 or more hours per day, and she worked any shift they offered her, because she loved the animals and caring for them. Loving them, being their "Friend" and loving them like they had never been loved before. ...

But as her illness got more and more aggressive, she got knots, stress knots in her lower back, top of hips,.in her neck..
We could physically feel them ourselves and tried to massage them away to relieve some of her awful pain, that even medication could not phase or would barely take the edge off...

But My Little Fighter, My Trooper, with a Lust for Life and all its grand splendour, worked on through the pain till she could barely walk when she arrived home, because she was so dedicated to her job in Veterinary medicine and care, and she loved her Doc there and her co workers and staff, but most of all she pushed through the Unbelievable Pain Lupus patients endure daily , because she loves those Dogs, and Cats.... Lizards, livestock, whatever came through the office doors Especially Dogs....
And they were her Therapy from the pain and depression which accompany Lupus... She did it with a Smile on her face and never complained about the excruciating pain she was in, just kept going...
Till her very last day here on earth with ME, With Us...
