Burning Pain In Chest

Has anyone every experienced a burning sensation in the centre of their chest? It’s really quite uncomfortable

I have this issue all the time as well as constantly feeling like a lump is stuck in my throat, unfortunately for me, my heart has been attacked by the disease and has caused some heart problems for me. You could be suffering from GERD or some type of acid reflux disease as certain foods can cause this feeling as well. Talk to your doctor about it and gain some clarity on whats going

I've had sever chest pains as well. Over night stay at the hospital, complete cardio work up, you name it. My heart is all good and very healthy. Been diagnosed with Costochondritis. Inflimation of the cartilage in the rib cage. Pain is as sever or even more so than a heart attack. They put me on tapered prednisone to stop my flare up and started feeling better. Hope you start feeling better and get some answers.

Yes. Ended up having a full cardiac workup. Fortunately, my heart was/is fine. So they moved to the esophagus. Bingo. It was Esophageal Dismotility. Basically, food and/or beverage was not passing down the esophagus as it should and would, in essence, hang-up. It would eventually pass but muscle spasms would start during this. Trying to give the esophagus some help, I suppose. I still get this. Unfortunately there is nothing I can take or do about it. I would certainly have it checked out just to be sure it wasn't cardiac, and if not, then have the esophagus checked out. Hang in there.

I have experienced the issue with swallowing. It can be related to herd or hiatal hernia. Also shoe greens causing with the food going down. I would definitely check with your doctor because that kind pain can also be cardiac related. Hope you find out an answer & get relief.
