It definitely helps with my pain. Everyone reacts differently to different treatments but for me I can take the smallest "dose" and my pain melts away and I only use it when it's really bad and Tylenol ect isn't helping. That's just for me personally but I have another friend with Lupus who is a multiple times a day everyday user and it has helped her tremendously.

I started using cannabis when I was diagnosed with RA seven years ago. For me, cannabis has helped with anxiety, insomnia and it helped me not care about pain.

Medical marijuana, also known as cannabis, has been used for thousands of years for medicinal purposes. It is reported to help treat:

- Nausea
- Appetite loss
- Psychiatric and mental health disorders
- Sleep issues
- Chronic pain

However, it is important to note that marijuana can have negative effects, especially when used in high doses or over a long period. Some of these negative effects include:

- Lung damage (especially relevant for those with lupus, as lupus can damage the lungs)
- Impaired memory and concentration
- Psychiatric effects (such as anxiety, depression, and psychosis)
- Impaired judgment and decision-making

Always discuss with your doctor about your use of marijuana to manage medications and prevent potential drug interactions.
