Lupus often is piggy-backed with other immune disorders. I also have Sjogren's, Hypothyroidism, Fibromyalgia, Raynauds etc. I also have neuropathy in my right arm/ In time, you'll figure out which pain goes with issue.

One more thing.
How do your fingernails and toenails look?

Apparently, they are a HUGE and indicator of psoriatic arthritis and Lupus.
When I was diagnosed, I was sanding a ridge out of 2 fingernails. FFW to now, 🤦‍♀️ They are all ridges and weird waves.
There goes the hand modeling career jk 😹

What kind of doctor? Family docs are generalist.
My experience is that high ANA just means high inflammation in your body. A specialist needs to figure out what is causing the inflammation.

I had high ANA for at least 10 years before they figured it out. Regular blood work would show it, family doc would send to specialists, more bloodwork, rinse repeat.
It is scary at first, but it’s not the death sentence it used to be.
I love my life differently (for good or bad) because I don’t plan to live well into retirement.
I drive Porsche!
I figure if I don’t spend it, it will go to medical bill not my family 🇺🇸 but we won’t get into that conversation here 🤔
