@loisbuchcanon I was one benylista for three years. I eventually had to go off it because it worked too well and I had no immune system. During those three years I had a great reduction in my joint pain,however I also had hair loss and extreme fatigue the day of the infusions. Hope that helped.

Hi Lois, I have had 5 Benlysta infusions so far. The first 3 were 2 weeks apart and now I get them every 4 weeks. I have to take 2 Tylenol and a Benedryl 1 hour before the infusion. I am very tired after, but I think that’s from the Benedryl. I feel that the Benlysta has helped my pain a lot, but I am still very fatigued. I am also on 5 mg of prednisone per day. I will be praying for you for tomorrow. ❤️🙏🏻

I have never taken it. I do know it will take up to 14 days to get in your system. Good luck.

I think everyone goes thru the what works for you. It is very scary because you begin to think nothing will help! No Benlysta does not come in a pill form, infusions or shots at home. Thank you for your prayers.

@A MyLupusTeam Member thanks. If I could get rid of the pain I'd be thrilled! I take plaquenil, 4 mg pred, Imuran for lupus as well.
