My lower back pops and cracks when I’m doing floor exercise or yoga. I mean, a lot cracking and I can feel the movement of individual bones. There isn’t any pain. I sound like I’m microwaving popcorn. It does feel bone on bone. Does anyone have this? Is this a symptom of lupus or the connective disease? I haven’t seen a Dr abt this, yet. Thank you in advance! 🌺
Cracking and popping can be normal, especially as we age. As I mentioned in another post, osteopathy has been very helpful for me overall. It can be difficult to find a doctor of osteopathy(DO) who performs manipulative therapy, but it is definitely worth looking into. If you're interested, just make sure you confirm that the DO performs OMT(osteopathic manipulative therapy), as not all DOs do.
Best wishes!
I'm sixty nine I hear mine pop all the time has long their no pain
Same here. Snap, crackle and Pop! I'm 53 and it's the norm for me.
I would run it by your doctor just to put your mind at ease.
Have a Goodnight 🙂
