Lots of us do have secondary Sjogren's and chronic dry mouth. Are you seeing little white things in the back of the throat? It's wise to have your doctor look to make sure it's nothing worrisome, but those of us with dry mouth more often get little food particles caught in the crypts in our tonsils in the back of the throat. Drinking more water while eating can help prevent this and chewing more thoroughly.
