It certainly could be irritable bowel, but please go to the ER if you get persistent or severe abdominal pain, especially if it's localized to one part of the abdomen, or if you're worsening, or seeing bloody or black stool. Since you felt chilled, you may have picked up a GI bug (gastroenteritis), which is usually viral, but can occasionally be bacterial, which is detected by stool cultures. So also be seen if your symptoms aren't resolving within about 3 days. Hope you're already feeling better!

Hi @A MyLupusTeam Member What you are describing sound like a bout of Irritable Bowel. If you continue to have problems you may want to see your primary dr. Back years ago it took 2 yrs to diagnose mine and the treatment for it at that time were anti-depressents. Diagnosis and treatment has really improved since then. I've added you to my team. Thank you. Slept all night and was able to eat plain oatmeal with raw honey and tea for breakfast and just had some toast and jelly. Stomach feels fine but I'm still getting hot and cold with no fever. Chest feels a little congested so I think I picked up a bug from somewhere. I'm reading and getting up every two hours to walk up and down my long driveway so my lungs don't get inflamed. I'm just a little concerned about my leukemia numbers and side effects but will let this play out for awhile longer.

Actually I think it was bad lettuce !!! I had a big tuna salad for lunch the day before. My husband also had a salad and was feeling nauseous too. I think it's over now. Feeling 100% better. Lots of lettuce recalls lately due to listeria and other bacteria 😳
