Lupus can sometimes affect the gastrointestinal system, and you may want to ask your rheumatologist about that possibility. Do you eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies?

Try a liquid diet and see if that helps. No dairy.

My Dr told me not to use the Stool softner as it's not helping me. Explained that senna will help keep things moving better for me. She also said when they can't offer anything else they suggest a Stool softner.
Do what works! I'm on Xarelto and that doesn't help

Yes. I also find that when I am my pain increases as well. I drink apple juice at night and it helps with the constipation. 🦋

Try a stool softener, not a laxative as they are not good for you.
