I learned to take iron supplement with a high Vit C food (or supplement), separate magnesium by several hours and more. Very good information in the guides. You’ll find them in the menu. Tips as well on constipation and infusions.

If you join this Facebook group there is a lot of information. Go to the menu and read the guides. I printed them out. This is where I learned you can be iron deficient with or without anemia, to have high Vit C foods (or a supplement) with the iron, to separate magnesium several hours apart from your iron supplement and more. They even talk about problems some have with iron infusions, give tips, as well as tips for constipation. I use psyllium and acacia.

Thank you all I went see my pcp sue to my belly pain and bloated and gas issue. She did my blood work and she said my iron is low and I told her is that because I am going through menopause since I missed my period since February. I have appt gastro on the 13th to check my stomach issue. They did X-ray my belly in case internal bleeding . I really appreciate you all hopefully nothing serious just pet of my lupus. @genlanco I will try that and thank you hope your feeling better

I have been taking an iron pill I order from Amazon about 2 years now. Doesn’t cause stomach upset at all. I even take it on an empty stomach. My numbers are great. Just had bloodwork done in February. Iron and hemoglobin, sat, ferritin are all excellent.

My iron Is always low so I take Floradix. Iron makes me so nauseated but Floradix doesn't have that affect. I don't notice constipation either.
