Just curious if anyone has used any collagen powders or supplements and if you noticed any benefits? Any reason not to that you know of?

I've been taking Dr Amy Myers, Spectrum 5 collagen which contains types 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10. I have noticed that my nails have become long and strong and my hair grows fast. Some people might be allergic to certain types of collagen. I'm not allergic to these five types. The types in her powder are from hydrolyzed bovine collagen, chicken bone broth powder, chicken eggshell membrane powder and hydrolyzed fish collagen. I would really like to be a vegetarian but apparently I need collagen. I also like the gelatin she sells. She is an online functional medicine autoimmune doctor. She is an actual MD but decided to go into functional medicine because of how the medical community failed her when she was diagnosed with Graves disease as a medical student.
Iβve taken it for two years, it has helped with my hair loss. I put it in my coffee.
I added liquid to drinks. Lotions do not work because collagen molecules are too large for absorption. I don't know if I felt any benefits, though.
