I am a medical doctor and have found that the commercials for the biologics are misleading. I did the blood work which lead to many of my diagnoses of all my autoimmune diseases then went to appropriate specialists to have my diseases confirmed. I have asked over the years to be checked for other diseases bc of poor response to meds. Sometimes it has confirmed the diagnosis and we found new diseases too. Sometimes it just confirms what I already have. I have 11 autoimmune diseases and lupus has affected all my organ systems. My fatigue etc has never improved but most of my diseases have never been under control. My quality of life is terrible and all my doctors tell me I am the sickest patient they have.
I say it is worth being checked for other diseases if you are not responding to current or any meds

I have tried Rituxan, Benlysta, Stelara, and now am on Saphnelo. Nothing had really worked. I am also on other biologics for my 10 other autoimmune diseases and IVIg for my Common Variable Immune Deficiency.
I am tolerating Saphnelo. I think it has helped my joint pain some but not the fatigue or brain fog etc
I hope this helps

Yes and about 3 biologics and not noticing a difference. Sounds silly but if they don’t work could I be misdiagnosed?

Have you already tried the older treatments like plaquenil, azathioprine, etc.?
