I'm having muscle twitches that range from an annoying eyelid or calf twitch to full on jerks in my abdomen or legs. I'm very newly diagnosed but not sure if that's a vitamin deficiency or Lupus?
I dont know about normal, but I get them everywhere eyelids, calves, thighs, arm, neck.... you name it. I was diagnosed with Vitamin D deficiency-after getting my Vit D level up, It helped... also helped with some of the tendonitis pain.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Didn’t even know I had it and it was just a fluke it was discovered. 48hour EEG confirmed. The only symptoms I had were phantom smells and the twitch when I am falling asleep. Not grand mal seizures just complete focal seizures. Dr said it could be part of Lupus. Or not. So much fun.
Hi Penny those twitches can be any thing . It gets them in my arms sometimes. But my eye twitching is caused by a disease called Semifacail spasms caused from an accident I had years ago and they are trouble some I get botox shots from the neurologist about every 4 months.
I am getting them again for the first time in about a year. Mostly in bed and my fingers, arms and belly. Sometimes so strong, my husband notices.
I get in my eye lids
