Hey Catherine, I have always had issues with leg pain starting with growing pains as a child. I do have times when my feet feel like that if I have swelling and more notable joint paint in my knees and ankles that day. Ice packs or heat and elevating my lower extremities help along with decreasing sodium intake and making sure I am drinking enough water.

Neuropathy can cause similar symptoms with nerve damage. I have that in my legs. I had biopsies in both legs. Not sure if Lupus caused it or not. I believe it came from an infection of which a doctor who took over my doctor’s practice gave me sulfur. I was extremely allergic to it and landed in intensive care for a week and a half. I told him how the medicine was affecting me and he said “don’t be a baby and continue to take it. I was in my mid 30s then. I just assumed he would be as great as the wonderful doctor he bought the practice from. Not! So, that’s how I ended up with nerve damage. I hope you can get this resolved soon.

Sorry haven’t been on here for awhile, didn’t see your question until tonight. Right now I’m not taking any vitamins. I only take mirapex for my legs 1mg and it usually helps but then the deep pain started which is different from my restless legs.
