I just read an article about an old practice called oil pulling to improve and maintain oral health. Just wondering if anyone has tried it. And is it effective? Here's a different article I found about it for those of you who never heard of it.

I actually have tried it, and when I get past the gooey sensation, lol, it's not bad. From all that I've read, coconut oil has antimicrobial properties that kill the bad bacteria, but it also whitens your teeth naturally, which it did do that for me. Hope this helps.

Yes! I’ve heard of it and I love it. I feel like it’s helped my teeth in so many ways. It takes a little bit to get used to the texture, but I just get a tablespoon of raw coconut oil put it in my mouth and swish it around.
