Sometimes it's not about wanting to take medication, it’s about remembering, juggling routines, or making it work with everyday life.

Members shared creative and practical tricks for remembering to take medication on time, with pill organizers and phone alarms being the most popular strategies across the community. Several members described pairing medications with daily habits like meals, morning routines, or bedtime to make them easier to remember, while others used compartmentalized weekly pill boxes to also track when refills are needed. A recurring theme was that consistent routines are the key to staying on track, and having backup reminders like a supportive partner or extra pill box helps on harder or busier days.

My wife. She's a Godsend. Reminds me to take medications/of doctors appts basically everything. I tell others that she is my brain. If they want a sensible answer ask her. Without her I would be in a world of confusion.

I put my pills in a pillbox as well. Its a weekly, morning, noon. evening and night box I picked up. I bring my lunch meds with me in a pill holder and my watch gives me an alert, so I don't forget my pills. (In a meeting, or in the middle of a project, this is key). By keeping my medications in the box, it makes me also remember when I need meds refilled. Hope this helps.

For me being a busy mom who works from home I have an alarm set daily for medication without it, I for sure will forget to take them.

Thank God! for a beautiful partner. I use a medicine reminder app.

I keep my meds on my nightstand and take them first thing in the morning and right before I lie down in bed. I keep an extra pill box in the living room just in case I forget to take them. Plus I carry my morning meds in a small pill box with me whenever I leave home.
