Has Anyone Had Troubles With Candida Or Thrush And How Did You Get Rid Of It For Good?
A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question 💭

A year ago Aug, I was on Prednisone for 6 weeks for a flare and again in Feb I was on it 2wks for bronchitis. I also was taking a steroid inhaler for short time. At my last rheumy visit (4 months ago) I still had it so they gave me fluconizole tablets for 2weeks. I also did a two week herbal… read more

A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am just starting out on the journey and was diagnosed 4 months ago, feeling like both scientist and subject and experimenting with foods, so it's too early to see consistent results! There's a lot of integrative work around gut-healing, and eating detoxifying and anti-inflammatory foods. These books describe specific protocols for diet:

What Can You Do About Swelling In Wrist And Feet If You're On Blood Clotting Meds?
A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have a friend who is newly diagnosed with lupus and she can't take any ibuprofen or naproxen. She's on blood clotting medicine. Her wrist and feet are super swollen. I don't know if ice would be good. I don't use ice ever but I don't have thin blood either. I'm not sure what to tell her. Any advice would be great please and thank you

A MyLupusTeam Member

Hi there, I also get swollen but I think it is due to the inflammation. I took water pills and it work. But speak to your dr . Gentle hugs
