So i woke up this morning and started to scratch my back and it felt like when you try to itch a sunburn. Then i lift my shirt and my whole chest and back look like ive been sunburned. And i cant be sunburned because i was home all day yesterday. Anyone experience something similar? I have no idea what to do.
I feel sunburned all over and full body neuropathy for a month now. In addition to joint, muscle inflammation and fatigue. Been on 5 mgs. Pred. And HBP med (for years) When this began. No topical allergies. Help what could this be?
Me three. Big hugs to all
When I simply touch my arm ever so gently, it is so sensitive to touch, sometimes my leg, even my face, unless this is prednisone or lupus related? What could it be. Endocrinologist appt tomorrow, rheumatologist appt next week, can’t wait, hopefully they can shed light on this for me. Oh, and did I say I am up with the coffee perking. Just would love to sleep until 6am once, just once. Have a great day everyone
When your butterfly starts to show, does your face feel sunburnt? I know some people have this all the time but mine seems to show up really well when im feeling bad and my face feels snd looks sunburnt, but I havent even been in the sun.
My butterfly rash starts around my ears it is warm to the touch then my face feels like it's in fire
Hello all! I woke up this morning and my entire face is peeling. It actually looks like I had a sunburn that is now peeling. Sunburns to not happen in January in Minnesota though. Could this be related to the 36 florescent lightbulbs I have in my classroom sending down UV light?
I've now developed peeling skin accross my forhead and temples that just doesn't want to leave. There is no itching and it looks like the aftermath of a sunburn. I use a tweezers to pull off the larger pieces only to have it return. YUCH !! Any help would be appreciated.
Does anyone else experience skin pain? I guess the best way to explain it is, when I’m having a flare, which I am right now, I have radiating pain in both my femur bones, hips and tailbone, in all the muscles below my waist to my feet, but also my skin. It hurts to be touched or to have clothes touching my skin. Like I’m sunburnt or bruised and someone is pressing down on the bruise. It might sound confusing and it’s hard to explain. Anyone else?
Anyone else NOT have the mylar rash and subsequently people/Dr did not think you had lupus?
Can't seem to find any posting where lupus patient is not experiencing skin concerns.
I've only had slight rash on arms and chest when in the sun. Never had the facial rash
Does anyone else experience a super hot flushed face during flares? When you look at me you can see the butterfly outline is what is red. My face feels like I'm sunburned!
I get really red checks when out in the sun. My cheeks also get really red on a couple of my pain pills. This is part of Lulu. I like to think red cheeks mean I am Healthy.
