So i woke up this morning and started to scratch my back and it felt like when you try to itch a sunburn. Then i lift my shirt and my whole chest and back look like ive been sunburned. And i cant be sunburned because i was home all day yesterday. Anyone experience something similar? I have no idea what to do.
Hello all! I woke up this morning and my entire face is peeling. It actually looks like I had a sunburn that is now peeling. Sunburns to not happen in January in Minnesota though. Could this be related to the 36 florescent lightbulbs I have in my classroom sending down UV light?
I have had Lupus for about 3/4 years and haven't really pinpointed the flares vs me just getting sick. The wonderful Rheumatologist I found retired after year of becoming his patient and I haven't been seeing anyone else, my regular Doc continues prescribing my Plaquenil. I read that a flare can mimic the flu etc., but I have noticed when I have been sick or feeling bad or having " low energy days" as I call it. I have had what seems… read more
Has anyone had there foot to peel like you had been sunburned. It does not hurt or itch. I have an appointment with PC next week. Oh there is a place on one toe that looks bruised.
Over a yr. ago I had a severe sunburn on my upper right arm. I continue 1 yr later with constant itching and burning on the same place as I was sunburned on. I also get severe itching after a shower. My skin itches and burns for quite a while, in spite of lotions, etc. The only thing that helps both of these itching problems is an ice pack.
Does anyone else have extreme itching????
When your butterfly starts to show, does your face feel sunburnt? I know some people have this all the time but mine seems to show up really well when im feeling bad and my face feels snd looks sunburnt, but I havent even been in the sun.
I get the feeling I've been out in the sun all day. Like my skin should be red and swollen and it's not. There's no trigger. Like the rest of lupus symptoms it pops up then goes away.
I got a sunburn Monday. I never usually burn but since getting diagnosed it happens so quickly. Anyways at the top of my back got burnt the worst! (I was wearing sunscreen) it's peeling now but still is so very tender to the touch. Like bad. Is this because if my lupus? It's taking it way longer to heal. And it's peeling so it shouldn't hurt anymore but it does bad.
Occasionally, my skin hurts to be touched. It feels different from a sunburn. It feels just.... I don't know... raw?
I have noticed that my complexion is changing. I it's beginning to look as if I have been sunburned. It started with my scalp and now it's spreading to my forehead. Any suggestions ?
