I am struggling to get my stress levels under control. I am looking for any options from meditation to yoga that will help me to better handle and react to stress.
Thank you

Exercise is the best way to control stress to me. If you have joint problems swimming or water aerobics are good. Maybe just a walk around the block. Meditation and yoga is good too.

I love yoga! I like to do it in the privacy of my own home, alone. The great thing about it is that you start with beginners routines, and do what you can. You don't have to push yourself to exhaustion. As you do it more, you are able to do more routines, and do it better. There are some great apps you can download, for smartphones and tablets, with all kinds of routines that you can follow along with. You can customize the length of the routine and everything. My favorite is called Pocket Yoga. If you have Pinterest, you can also check out my Excercises board on there. I have pinned many light excercises and yoga routines on there. I hope this helps! 💜

guided imagery relaxation is great and so helpful with pain and insomnia. Yoga is great and most instructors can help you adjust poses to your ability. It is also a great way to maintain strength and mobility for Lupies.

I would recommend vinyasa yoga because it's a class that focuses on the flow of yoga which helps you focus on your breathing and your own flow in your daily life with lupus. Also it's a great workout that isn't too strenuous on the joints and doesn't cause more fatigue :)
