The Majority Of My Symptoms Have Been A Result Of Vasculitis And CNS Involvement. What Treatments Have Been Most Successful.

I also have CNS Vasculitis oh and so much more. When the CNS was at its worse the only thing that knocked it out was Cytoxin. I also took my normal med's which I have continued ever since. Imuren has helped keep major flares at bay.

I just saw your question after a search on CNS involvement. Initially 15 years.ago I had severe symptoms of CNS lupus, and had to relearn to walk, talk, etc. I received cytoxan which helped put my disease in remission for almost 12 years. Controlled with Plaquenil, and times of prednisone. However, I had recently been having a LOT of trouble with cognitive dysfunction, having serious symptoms again! I thought it was something else.. But I have now been on CellCept for 2 weeks and little by little, I'm getting better. It's been a life saver!! I hope you are doing better now over a year later. Hugs!
