I did a search on WebMD for lupus brain fog and found some very sensible tips on coping strategies. Y'all may want to check that out. There are a few small changes I think I can make that will help me personally. Just a suggestion.
I've only recently started to experience this. It is frightening for me. So much of my job is communication and when I can't think of a simple word, I panic.
Yes, I sometimes forget what I was talking about. Then I will remember a few minutes later. It is the fog from the lupus.
@KristinMYes! I begin to speak and what I was going to say escapes me. It is so frustrating.I have found myself completely dumbfounded and unable to remember.
It's horrible
I was a 4.0 science major at an iv league school and 7 years after graduating and 3 years into my diagnosis I can barely get through a chapter of an immunology book without my brain feeling tired and shutting off. It's quite depressing. Does anyone know of a medicine to counter this? Aderal or vyvase?
