Hello everyone,
Thanks for your comments.
Definitely staying warm from the INSIDE out helps big time. Always keep a HOT cup of tea, coffee, water etc with you and sip on it all day. I also buy something called "hothands" their hand warmers that last about 8-10 hours. I get a huge box of 40 pairs off Amazon for about 35$ I think. I activate them first thing in the morning, then just keep in my pockets all day. Gloves too of course. But I'd say the biggest help was when I started drinking hot tea ALL day. Keeping warm on the inside is the biggest help.
A lot of states offer discounts on your energy bills if diagnosed with raynauds. Since we have to keep it so much warmer than most people, they try to make it a little easier on us.
Raynaud Phenomenom i also have Raynaud my doctor told me that it's also emotional long period of power tool use I worked for General Motors for 30 years cold weather triggers Raynaud, cold drinks.
I have it very bad. I make sure to have warm Alpaca socks in the winter and gloves or mittens. Once my hands and feet get cold my whole body gets cold then I need a hot bath.
I take Procardia brand name, niphedipine generic. I have been on it since being dx. My cardio put me on it. I also use the gloves when I remember them. I really am careful when getting into the cooler or freezer sections in the stores or at home.
