Yup, good thing my sister is a message therapist, I went to her, and she said I had 'frozen shoulder', so she massaged me about 3x, then I seen my rheumy, and he gave me a shot in the shoulder...cortozone?...I forget...then I went back to my sister, and she did one more massage therapy (gentle one), and it was all gone, hasn't bothered me since! This was back in November!
Yep - started up again a few days ago. First my shoulder blade area, then my shoulder. It has since moved to my neck and gave me a screaming headache. Hot shower concentrating the water helps a little.
Yes I have and at times it radiates to my left shoulder. Heating pad or ice packs can help alleviate the pain
Yes have had, fibro can give me a lot of spasm and sharp pain that limits range of motion till it gets calmed down. Usually heat and watching the motions I am doing then gentle strengthening helps. I would check w/ my dr to be sure if it doesn't get better in a few days. You may have just overworked some muscles and that is the price we pay with fibro. Could have all started w/ the neck it sometimes does with me. I have exercises.
I get pain all over between the lupus and fibromyalgia. Sometime my arms feel like lead weights and my neck doesn't feel strong enough to keep my head up.I am on pain meds but seriously, I wish they would legalize medical pot in PA .
