I know that I have an acoustic neuroma in my right ear which is causing it's own issues, but my left ear continually fills with fluid and the hearing is muffled and decreased. The doc believes it could be related to my autoimmune disease. I'm not sure what to think about all this. Anyone have an ideas or suggestions? Thanks
Rheumy will help tell them U want blood work up for Sjogren's and then go from there soft hugs
@MaryKelleyCaffrey maybe it is my Sjögren's and not my SLE in that case. I have pretty severe Sjögren's syndrome and that was my first issue...
I had sudden hearing loss in my left ear about 2 years prior to my official diagnosis. I have very diminished hearing and high pitched tinnitus. I have no idea why this happened. I haven't gotten an answer from my rheumatologist as to why she thinks this is happening.

@A MyLupusTeam Member also have muffled hearing and when it clears up I am extremely sensitive to sound. I think mine is connected to esophagus issues and yeast infection.
