Since it was not agreed upon what type of Lupus I have but "of the skin was one" do I have to wear long sleeves and pants in the southern summer?

I apply a ridiculous amount of high SPF sunscreen and keep reapplying it often. I can't wear the long sleeves. Heat makes me sick. I do wear a hat and have cooling towels handy. Keeps me cool and covers my skin. I love them! Frogg Toggs. They are cheaper on amazon. Hugs!

@A MyLupusTeam Member. Check out Coolibar.com, you can also perform an online search. Some of the good sporting stores also have some breathable, lightweight SPF clothing. I recently purchased some great pants from Academy, made by Columbia. Happy shopping.

Yes, please do. I'm 100% covered when I'm outside, it sucks, but you can find some nice SPF clothing now, which makes it more bearable when it's hot and sunny out, I also use Solibar Zinc 38 SPF on my hands, face and any exposed areas of my skin, I keep it handy so I can reapply during the day, invest in a good SPF wide brimmed sunhat and a good pair of sunglasses. Living in Florida is very challenging, remember that even when you're in a car the sun can still affect you, I have a prescription from my dermatologist for a darker window tint as I am ultra light sensitive too. Good luck, hope this helps.

Yes, you must very careful how long you are expose to the sun. For me I get up early in the morning before 10:00am, for 15 minutes to get some sun.
