Every time I look up black mold I always run across where it says it can cause cancer, lupus and many more horrible things But lupus always pops up .

Lupus isn’t genetic always. I have no one in my family with any kind of autoimmune disease yet I have lupus.

My husband just asked me the same question. I used to work in a building that was loaded with mold. When the new owners were going to buy the bldg., they tested...I was told there was mold - but it was the "good" kind of mold. I'm going to look into your question. I saw on this site where a Nurse said she and 3 coworkers got lupus virally transmitted. I never heard that before.
