I took it for three months back in 2014 and it quieted my lupus flares for three years! I started having increased lupus activity over the last year and my rheumatologist prescribed it again. It took my insurance company 6 months to provide both denials, but then the drug company picked up the tab and is providing me with the medicine (thankfully, since it is crazy expensive). I've been on it for almost 2 weeks and had to lower the dose (with doctor's blessing) because the side effects were rougher this time. Doc thinks I just don't need as much this time around (and I lost a little weight since last time, which could affect y response to the med). From what I remember last time around, it took about a month on the medication before I started noticing a decrease in pain level and flares. It put me into near remission last time. I expect the same results this time too. I took it for three months last time and expect to be on it for about that long this time. I'm not sure how the lowered dosing will affect how long I take it. It successfully got me off of prednisone last time!

I take it and it's been the best med so far. I have gained weight but it's helping. I don't mind sticking myself . Lol
