Has anyone that was taking this drug, found a replacement?
You should call your doc and ket them know maybe they could help.
It could be called choloriquine it has to be compounded by a pharmacy. Idk did you try google.
Wow 😲 how much were they going to charge this is sad the ins wont cover it. I have problems with some if these treatments not being fda approved for lupus that means the patient has to pay . Well hell excuse me but lupus patients are sick and they pay big bucks to their docs and just try to survive and make a living. Alot of the sle meds are not approved for discoid lupus i would have to pay big bucks for this or not take the medicine it really ticks me off.
Let me know what happens it is a sad money making pyramid scheme. Aralen is probley not FDA approved for sle and they have to compound it. Your doc should be able to help the docs get frustrated too just two months age plaquenil went up used to pay 50 now pay 177 a month. My dermy was concerned patients cannot take the medicine if they cant pay for it. I tell you its a conspiracy and we need advocates for lupus patients its a sad ordeal. Hang in their I care about you if i can help let me know.
You know what Fluffy, your right because I went to the compound and they want cash, do not accept insurance, therefore, I can not afford. She must have bee giving me something close to the compound version Thanks for answer!
